How to Turn a Claude Design into PNGs

12 May 2026 · 5 minute read

You have a Claude Design open. You want PNGs out — one per slide, sized for Instagram or Twitter or LinkedIn, ready to post. This is the short, direct answer.

The three ways to do it

There are three real options, in order of how much pain you tolerate.

1. Screenshot the browser

Open the design preview, take a full-page screenshot, crop each slide out. Works for one slide, falls apart at three. The resolution comes out wrong on most retina displays, you lose any text crispness, and cropping a multi-slide carousel by hand is the kind of task that turns a five-minute job into an hour.

Use this only when you need exactly one PNG and you need it now.

2. Use the built-in Send to Canva export

Claude Design ships with a Send to Canva button. From Canva, you can export individual slides as PNG. This is the path Anthropic recommends — but Canva is a paid tool, the round trip adds two more screens to your workflow, and the export sometimes shifts your layout because Canva interprets the design rather than rendering it faithfully.

Reasonable if you are already a Canva customer. Expensive if you are not.

3. Use

Renda is the tool we built for this exact step. Drop your Claude Design file, pick the platform you want PNGs for, get clean per-slide PNGs at the right dimensions. No screenshots, no Canva subscription, no cropping. Free for ten renders a month, no card required to try.

Why Renda works on any design

Most screenshot-and-crop tools assume your design follows a template — same fixed canvas, same slide markers, same expected layout. Real Claude Designs do not look like that. One day you build a square carousel with arrow navigation. The next day a long-scrolling page. The next, a portrait pitch deck with pip dots.

Renda's AI looks at each design separately and figures out what to do. It detects how many slides there are, hides whatever navigation UI Claude added, picks the right capture region, and renders each slide at the platform dimensions you asked for. You do not configure anything. You drop the file and pick a preset.

The steps

  1. Export from Claude Design. Click Export in the top right, pick the Standalone option, download the zip.
  2. Drop the zip on . The site is one page — there is no setup.
  3. Pick a platform preset. Instagram 4:5, Instagram square, Story, Twitter, LinkedIn, PowerPoint — each one renders at the platform's exact dimensions.
  4. Download the PNGs. Multi-slide designs come back as one PNG per slide, numbered in order so you can drag them straight into the platform.

From file to ready-to-post PNGs in about a minute.

What dimensions do you actually need?

The short version, for the platforms that matter most:

PlatformDimensionsRatio
Instagram portrait post1080 × 13504:5
Instagram square post1080 × 10801:1
Instagram Story1080 × 19209:16
Twitter / X image1600 × 90016:9
LinkedIn portrait carousel1080 × 13504:5
PowerPoint / Keynote slide1920 × 108016:9

Pick the preset that matches and Renda renders at those dimensions directly — no resizing in Photoshop after.
