Question 1

How do I save a Gemini Canvas as an image?

Accepted Answer

Open the canvas, choose Copy contents, paste the code into Renda and download a PNG of the whole page. Gemini Canvas can share a link or export text to Docs and Slides, but it has no image or HTML download for a web page or app.

Question 2

How do I save a ChatGPT preview as an image?

Accepted Answer

In the code block that shows your page, use Copy code, paste it into Renda and download a PNG. ChatGPT code blocks can preview HTML and React, but they have no download and no image export.

Question 3

Where is the download button?

Accepted Answer

There is none for previews. Gemini Canvas and ChatGPT code blocks only let you copy the code: Copy contents in Gemini, Copy code in ChatGPT. Paste that into Renda, or save it as a .html file and drop the file in.

Question 4

What happened to ChatGPT canvas?

Accepted Answer

On 28 May 2026 OpenAI replaced canvas in its current ChatGPT models with writing blocks and code blocks. Code blocks still preview HTML pages and React components, and Copy code is the way to get them out. Renda handles them the same way it handled canvas.

Question 5

My canvas is a document, not code. Can Renda render it?

Accepted Answer

Renda renders web pages, not writing. For a document, use the app’s own export, such as Export to Docs in Gemini, or ask for “this as a single HTML page” and render that page in Renda.

Question 6

What about React previews?

Accepted Answer

React code that starts with import lines only runs inside the chat app. Ask for “a single standalone HTML file that opens directly in a browser” and paste that instead. Renda spots component code and gives you the prompt to copy.

Question 7

Why does my preview render blank?

Accepted Answer

Usually the paste is React component code, a library failed to load, or the content appears a moment after the page opens. Renda waits for charts and React to finish. If something is still off, describe it in chat on Pro or with a Render Pack and the render updates.

Question 8

Is the free tier watermarked?

Accepted Answer

No. Free renders have no watermark and need no account. You get five free PNGs a month, shared with Claude artifacts and Claude Design exports.

Question 9

Can I get a PDF?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Pick PDF, fit to design, and the whole page becomes one PDF page at its natural size. A4 portrait and landscape are there too.

Question 10

Does it work with Claude artifacts?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Paste a Claude artifact’s HTML the same way. The Claude Artifact to PNG page shows where to find the code for chat and Claude Code artifacts.
